The American Heritage Girls Program enables a girl to grow in her FAITH, cultivate a heart for SERVICE, and have more FUN than she can imagine!

American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The organization offers badge programs, service projects, girl leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences to its members. It serves as a catalyst for building young women of integrity and faith. It also broadens girls social development through extra-curricular activities.  Troop NE1980 is a Catholic Troop (we are chartered by St. Wenceslaus and most of our members are Catholic), but the AHG program is a Christian program that can be tailored to many denominations and we welcome any girl/family whose beliefs are in line with the American Heritage Girls Statement of Faith.

As an American Heritage Girl, I promise to be:

Compassionate         Understanding others in fellowship, empathy, kindness, and caring. Respect others’ opinions and emotions.

Helpful                        Willingly serve others.

Honest                       Always tell the truth and keep my promises.

Loyal                          True to God, family, friends, community, and country.
